So with great anticipation, we got prepared for Joshua's first day of school. Of course, what happens? A great big ice storm arrived in town yesterday. We still got to go, but it was abbreviated, so he didn't get the full experience of taking a nap and going to music class there. Since I picked him up early, I put him down for his nap and he wanted nothing to do with it. While he was talking in his crib, I pulled his lunch out and realized that all he ate was some of his Cheerio mix and really nothing else. So after letting him talk for almost and hour, I figured he had to be starving. So, we got up and he stayed up until bedtime! We've never done that, so I wasn't sure how he was going to do. Not too bad....
Anyways, I'm sure every one's dying to know (sarcasm there!) how he did. He did pretty well. The teacher was pleased with him and said that he didn't cry too much, just off and on while he was there. But he watched, played a little and listened to stories. Day 2 is tomorrow so we'll see how it goes!
Here's the dorky picture of his first lunch....I took a picture of him before we got to school, but I thought it didn't look any different than the others I take. He had blueberries, cheerio mix and a cream cheese and jam sandwich. Ate just about nothing, but wolfed it down when I gave it to him later. I'm just guessing he wasn't used to eating with everyone.

What a cute lunch, "Miss Martha Mom". Caroline has her 1st day net week!! She'll go only 2 hours once a week so I can run w/o pushing the stroller!!
