T-Ball Season has started!

Our T-ball Season has begun. We are on the Red Sox and luckily have several friends on our team. For some reason starting an organized sport has made me feel more like a parent than at any other point in Joshua's short life. Maybe it's because I realize that we will be doing some sort of activity that requires a time commitment for the next 14 years of his life before he leaves for college.

Anyways, I was a little worried about how he was going to do considering the first 2 'practices' (I'm using this term loosely) ended up in tears, or him dashing off for the playground. But he was so excited to be there and see all the other kids in their uniforms. His favorite part was running the bases. I don't think he needed to do anything else, but he did everything he was suppose to with such joy on his face that I couldn't help but be happy with him.

The best part(s) of it is that the fields are beautiful, he gets a snack at the end of the game, gets to play on the playground afterwards and we celebrated his first game with ice cream afterwards.

Looking forward to the rest of the season!

Speaking with an English accent

Joshua has been saying some words randomly with a british accent. It took me a day, but I figured out he was saying 'garage' with an english accent. Weird, right? After he spent 2 days saying it this way, I finally thought it would be smart to actually ask him about where he learned this. A show that is on Nick Jr. called 'Peppa Pig'. Here's a short episode below.

then I caught him saying, "I am filling up the truck with petrol."

Talk about influence!
