Personalized Video from Santa

So this is the coolest thing and the best thing about is that it's free!

here is the video that I made for Joshua.

Portable North Pole is the name of the site and you can insert their pictures and specific requests and everything. I've linked it to the one we made for Joshua.

I recommend everyone to make one for their kids. I haven't shown it to Joshua yet, but I know he will love it!

Our visit with Santa

After our conversation last month about Santa and with Thanksgiving over, Joshua was asking about Santa all the time. So with Derek having the last Friday afternoon off, we headed off to the mall to talk to Santa.

We had absolutely no expectations at all with Joshua wanting to see him, but I dressed nicely and threw Joshua in a sweater just in case I was forced to be in the picture.

He did great! We were so surprised and he went up to Santa and talked to him and everything! Plus, he brought the toy catalogue with a picture of what he was asking for. He asked for an airport and then Santa promised him that and a surprise....I wish Santa had consulted us before throwing in that last part. :)

I love being able to see the joy in a kid's face when believing in Santa Clause. Obviously you don't get it with adults, and it's a nice reminder about some of the little things about the holidays.

Here's our picture!

Snowta

That is what J calls snowmen. We have been talking about Santa and one day when I asked him what a snowman was he replied, "It's a snowta Mom!" :)
