In my attempt to help with this separation anxiety, I have spent the last couple of weeks researching preschools in the area and I find it pretty stressful. Not that I haven't been given great advice from some moms that I have met, but touring and scheduling open houses...I feel like I am applying to college all over again. Plus, most of them here are based on a lottery system, so our chances are small to begin with because of all the other people that get priority before us. But I have found a local church here that has a couple of spots open this Spring, so we are going to try and register for that. On one hand, my heart breaks because he's leaving me, but on the other hand I know he needs it and I say, "Hallelujah! I get 6 hours to myself??"
Other than that, we are enjoying the semi-cold weather here. I am not complaining, because based on the weather reports, we would be trapped inside a lot in NJ this winter. So when people here say it's too cold to play outside and it's 40 degrees....pish posh! We are out there playing anyways!
Joshua's latest thing is his new Pjs he got for Christmas from his grandparents. The first picture is the pjs he got for Christmas. He loves them so much, that it has become a fight some days to take his pants off and get dressed for the day! So I have been searching for another set, to no avail. I've had grandparents search in other cities and I had already checked the local Target here and the internet. Yesterday while we were at Target, I happened to find the same pattern, but a flannel set for him in the clearance rack. He recognized then right away and carried them throughout the store. We wore them to bed last night and I couldn't get the shirt off of him this morning! So we spent the morning running errands and wearing our Pj top....I managed to get it off of him before he went down for his nap...but I am hoping to find another set. If anyone is in a Target and sees these Pjs....PLEASE buy me a set!!! :) We'll take a bigger size too!

Isn't the pj fight fun? There could be worse things you could fight with him about, right? I'll keep my eye out for those PJs. They had a ton of PJs on clearance at the Target I was at today, but I didn't look through them because that is one thing we don't need right not.
Look at that cutie. Really - preschool already?!
I've got one going to Kindergarten this year - makes me feel OLD.
