That's what Joshua calls me now...instead of just Ma, I've become Mommy. :)
It's nice to hear since yesterday was our nightmare of a swim lesson (it was a Mommy & Me Class). He screamed and cried for the full 30 minutes which led to the teacher commenting that she had never had a kid cry the whole time. We went back today a little earlier and he was very happily playing the beach entrance with his trucks and buckets that I didn't have the heart (or energy) to haul him away and force him to swim. So...until next year! But I think I am actually going to put forth the effort of going to the pool for at least 4 out of 5 days for the next week so in order to get him more comfortable. It's just such an ordeal to get everything together and dressed that I usually only make the effort once or twice a week. But since we had this in our schedule for the next couple of weeks I am going to do it!!
In other news, Joshua did a great thing yesterday by sticking his hands in his dirty diaper while I was on the phone. I got off the phone, he handed me something and ewwww....end of story and I was pretty grossed out.

I hope you were able to stick with the pool visits. That is absolutely the best way to get a kid comfortable with the water and learn to swim. Enjoy that one-on-one time with him!
