If you are driving through Texas, stop in Waco and go to the Exxon gas station near Baylor University (it has a Subway in it), think of me because I did this. The video below explains what I did. Luckily, I didn't pull the whole thing down, but just drove far enough to pull the pump out of the thing the gas comes out of (that's the technical term). Incredibly embarrassing because I then had to go inside and tell the cashier. For about 30 seconds as I was standing in line, I contemplated being white trash and driving away, but I stood there mortified and told her as quietly as I could. She then announced (not on purpose) that she had to call her boss to let him know about it. I had already paid for the gas, so I can't even use the excuse that I was trying to steal gas. So, the other customers are hearing her yell for another person to check out people, she has to explain loudly what I did to the other cashier. Then, she walks outside with me to pick it up off the ground! I didn't even bother to look for my gas cap that had fallen off because I didn't want to draw anymore attention to myself. Fortunately I didn't have to pay any damages, which if I did, I don't know if Derek would let me go on another Girls weekend. :)
Just so I don't feel as bad...I was on the phone with Lisa and got distracted while talking....I suppose that's simply an indication that I shouldn't drive and talk on my cell!!
Hope this gives everyone a good laugh....

I will take partial blame because I distracted you, only if you promise to come on another girls' weekend. I still cannot believe you did this!
What a story!! Can't wait to see what happens after the next girls weekend!! ha ha ha
ha ha I love it! I'm just glad it wasn't me because I would SURELY be banned from another girls' weekend!
Wow - i would just call u talented not accident prone! I've backed into a gas pump b4 - luckily i hit the concrete pilon - guess those are there for a reason!!!
You know what, I can actually picture this happening. So hilarious.
My sister did this last year - and panicked and drove off - then she came to her senses - or thought that they might have her on camera and went back to confess. They just shrugged pulled out a form (apparently it happens often) and made her pay like $100.
Now I ALWAYS look before I drive off.
