Thomas the Tank Engine and New Words

This past week was a normal busy one with school, playgroup, Gymboree and other happenings. The most exciting part of the week culminated on Saturday with a Day Out with Thomas. Of course, the weather didn't cooperate and it was windy and cold, but Joshua really enjoyed the trip on the train and seeing Thomas come into the station.

Not much happening around here, but Joshua is always talking. His vocabulary is slowly expanding...not that good at 2 syllable words yet, but he is getting pretty good at parroting words. Here's some of the latest words:

-Nan - banana, his favorite fruit. I think he would eat 3 of these a day if I let him...too bad it causes constipation! :)
-Shoes - He sort of says it without the 's' in front..more like 'dhoes'
-Ouse - This would be House. He says it every time we drive up the street towards the house.
- Choo Choo - not really new, but he says it a lot more these days and in reference to his Thomas the Tank DVD that he has.
- School - obvious I hope!
-Two and Six - Those are the only numbers he will say. When we read his counting books to him, he likes to point at the numbers and say, "Two, Six"

That's all I can think of right now...

Re: "Ouse", i think Joshua may be recalling how his NJ friends universally forget their H's. :) just wait until he starts turning right to turn left!
