It's the little things....

It doesn't take much for me to be happy and just the little things that happen or that people do make me happy. It can be something as small as Joshua giving me a hug or Derek telling me that he loves me.

Of course another thing that has made me happy today (and this is much shallower than the examples above) is the ability to make my couch stop sliding all over the hardwood floors!!! We had this problem in NJ, but the couch was up against a wall so it wasn't as big of a deal. But our couch is now on its own with nothing to stop it from sliding, so every time you sat in it, it slid in some direction much to my frustration.

And as we all know by now, the internet is the answer to everything (not that I don't still love to look something up in a dictionary or encyclopedia). I simply googled "stop furniture from sliding" and up popped my answer. "Use shelf liner with a rubber beading and cut it to fit under the legs." Such a simple answer and YES it works! :) My day is made. Now if it would dry up a bit outside for us to play then life would be almost perfect.
