Lots of things going on

Joshua and I have come back to New Jersey and we are trying to recover from our trip from Texas. We were excited because we got to see Derek and spend time with him. Me more than Joshua, but he got to see him this past weekend. He was actually really mad at us when he saw us, like he just realized that we had been gone. He cried and screamed at us for a good 10-15 minutes and wouldn't let Derek hold him at first. We were pretty upset with his reaction too. But he eventually forgave us and clung to Derek all weekend. Joshua had a blast at DeeDee and Papa's house. He was ruling the roost by the time we left. It helped that the weather was great and he was able to play outside everyday.

Joshua was a giraffe for Halloween. He didn't quite get the concept of Halloween, but he liked to ring the doorbell and pick out candy from the bucket. Of course, he didn't quite grasp that he was suppose to put it in his basket, so he would continually place back in the candy bowl and pick up more. He wasn't too fond of his costume either, but we managed to snap a few pictures.

In other news, we found a house!! We are going to be closing on it in a couple of weeks so it's happening really fast. We hope to be moving within the next couple of weeks from New Jersey. Thank heavens for company relocation!! We are going to be living in a neighborhood called Castle Hills. Super cute neighborhood with lots of walking trails and lakes and parks around the neighborhood, so we will be using all of the above! Here's a pic of our new house.

That's about it from here. We probably won't be doing too many blogs until we're settled, but I will try to keep up!

I'm pretty sure Ben sold pest control in this neighborhood one summer. We lived in the same town and I worked at Pappadeux's down the freeway.
