Our Staycation

We took a staycation last week and went to Grapevine which is about 15 minutes from our house. They just opened a Legoland Discovery Center there and we also stayed at a hotel there called the Great Wolf Lodge.

We had a great time at both places. Great Wolf Lodge has an indoor water park and we spent a ton of time in the water. We weren't sure if Joshua was going to like it, but he loved it. Liked the kiddies slides, the lazy river and the wave pool! This hotel is definitely a family hotel. It had tons of amenities for families and ways to entertain kids that I could easily see getting sucked in and never leaving the hotel. Starbucks, arcades, pizza hut, it was pretty crazy! We did leave for dinner and other things. :) Here's some of our pictures from our trip.

He's showing us his wristband for the hotel. He was very excited about it. Derek and I's let us into our hotel room and we could make all charges on it in addition to getting into the water park.



This was Joshua and Dad in the bunk beds he got to sleep in. He was so excited about getting bunk beds that was the big topic for us at the hotel.
